Formed in 2010, Joel Owen & The Antoine Band are an original blues and boogie band from Leicester, UK.
Having released solo albums "One of Those Days" and "Love and Music" in 2006 and 2009 respectively, Joel Owen found that his song writing led to collaborating with a diverse group of musicians and friends. Having an eclectic musical background, The Antoine Band soon forged a sound that drew on a host of artistic influences. With an emphasis on a live feel, coupled with a love for big-band boogie and rhythm and blues, the new material continues to grow in exciting ways.
Having already supported Mumford and Sons, Alessi's Ark and Peggy Sue, Joel Owen & The Antoine Band look forward to the future, and continue to make music to entertain, move and inspire.
The band are due to release their debut "Reckless Abandon EP" on 14th July 2011.
